KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct field surveys for road alignment, profiles, utilities, drainage, and right-of-way mapping.
- Prepare and analyze survey data using geodetic instruments, total stations, drones, and AutoCAD/GIS software.
- Establish and verify benchmarks, control points, and reference lines for road construction.
- Work closely with civil and design engineers to ensure accurate translation of plans to the site.
- Supervise survey teams and ensure the accuracy and quality of fieldwork.
- Provide input on as-built drawings, quantity calculations, and final survey documentation.
- Monitor settlement, slope stability, and road deformation, especially in urban or geologically sensitive areas.
- Provide surveying support during excavation, grading, and paving works.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering.
- Licensed/Registered Geodetic Engineer.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant surveying experience, especially in urban roadworks.
- Knowledge of road geometry, stationing, and earthworks calculation.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Site-based role with regular fieldwork under varying terrain and weather conditions.
- Travel to various project locations as needed.
- May require extended hours during construction deadlines.
