Oswal Reaches out to the aged

The annual Easter outreach program organized by Oswal Investments Limited came off successfully on March 30, 2024, at the St Barnabas Anglican Church, Osu, where more than 500 aged men and women received a special package from the company.

This is the third time the company has reached out to the group as part of its CSR program.
Oswal Investments Limited is one of the biggest road construction companies in Ghana, with a hallmark of excellence in prompt and quality project delivery.

The Event

The event started at exactly 7:30 a.m. with a prayer by the Parish Priest of the St Barnabas Anglican Church, Osu, Venerable Dr. Joseph Lanquaye Lamptey.

The Group Chairman of Oswal, Mr. Humphrey Awuletey-Williams, assured the beneficiaries that, the company would ensure that such a package reached them every year during the Easter period.
Mr. Awulutey-Williams expressed his appreciation to those who participated, stating that the company found enormous joy in the atmosphere that the event created for the aged to interact with their old friends.

This is not about the food. Last year, we observed the beautiful interaction between you and old friends you have probably not seen in a long time, and it touched our hearts to have brought all of you such joy

Venerable Dr. Lamptey said beneficiaries were very appreciative.

“The package is alright but more important is the building of the community spirit in Easter which resonates with the character of Christ.

We thank Oswal for the love shown these elderly men and women”.

The staff of Oswal Investments Limited including the wife of the Group Chairman, Dr. Mrs. Shirley Ann Awuletey-Williams, the Human Resource Manager, Madam Theresa Macbruce, and Mrs. Nicole Owusu in charge of the Asphalt Plant were all present at the event to support. Also at the ceremony was the General Secretary for the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry (GhCCI), Mrs. Naa Lamiley Bentil, who congratulated the company for the exemplary work it was doing in the road construction industry.
