Vice President of XCMG pays a courtesy call on Oswal Investments Limited – calls for collaboration

The Vice President of XCMG, the largest construction machinery manufacturing company headquartered in China, Dr. Hanson Liu, has called for a collaboration between his company and Oswal Investments Limited, a leading wholly Ghanaian-owned construction company.

Dr. Liu remarked during his working visit to Oswal Investments Limited on March 25th, 2024, at the company’s newly built office in East Legon.

In an interaction with the Group Chairman of Oswal, Mr. Humphrey Awuletey-Williams, and his top management, Dr. Liu expressed XCMG’s readiness to work closely with Oswal Investments Limited in all spheres of construction. “We have total solutions for the industry and are happy to share our knowledge and experience with you,” he said. Dr. Liu emphasized XCMG’s continuous efforts to improve its machinery to meet global demands and standards, and he appreciated the patronage of Oswal Investments Limited.

Dr. Liu was accompanied to the meeting by Mr. Tony Zhang, the Country Manager for XCMG Ghana, and two other executives. Mr. Awuletey-Williams expressed appreciation for Dr. Liu and his team’s visit, describing it as historic. He noted that he had been buying all his equipment from XCMG and commended their technical support. “I have seen and appreciate how the company has progressively improved on its technology and that is why we are shifting from European machines to more of the XCMG.”

He praised Mr. Zhang for being responsive to their needs, adding, “Each time we have had a challenge with any of the machines, Tony is quick to send us technical support, and we appreciate that.” Mr. Awuletey-Williams confirmed that Oswal Investments Limited was ready to buy more equipment from XCMG and requested Dr. Liu to ensure rapid delivery of their orders.

The meeting commenced with a six-minute video showcasing Oswal Investments Limited’s most current and impressive project at Borteyeman in the Greater Accra Region, which is which is substantially completed.
